The author based on the analysis of questions addressed to the pedagogical experts as well as conclusions from her own research at school, looks at the participation of adults in school conflicts. She describes the adult as a part of the conflict and as a mediator or negotiator in the conflict (“the third part of the conflict”). She also indicates the unnecessary or harmful participation of adults in school conflicts. The author marks the lack of adults in conflict situations and indicates the difficulties experienced by adults in schools. The text ends with a description of the consequences resulting from such (un)presence of adults in school conflicts along with an indication of recommendations for teachers and parents.
