Te paper attempts to identify intra- and interpersonal determinants associated with being “leﬅ in” a group and “outside of” society. Te model proposed by M. Benett as well as the model of temporal expectations based on J. Trempała are used for theoretical analyses. Te objectives of this study are: veriﬁcation of theoretical assumptions of diﬀerences in competences and skills held between study group (marginalized) and those of the so-called “most social” including evaluation of eﬀectiveness of measures taken in the design of activation of social integration. Studied group consists of 521 participants. Tools used: Questionnaire life experiences, Questionnaire sense of inﬂuence on events, tool to study the expected changes and SES (Rosenberg). Based on the obtained results an increase in the sense of the impact on their lives in various aspects, improvement of communication skills, self-esteem realignment, recognition of competences and improvement of professional qualiﬁcations can be observed.
